Yoga improves the quality of life, Yoga is an art and this art has a beauty which makes our soul happy and make our body Healthy. It has the engagement of both body and mind like MUSIC as raaga and taala. Yoga creates awareness in our body, it is an artwork of mind and soul.

YOGA is not just meant for adults this is as important for kids as well… It is an old discipline from India, it is both spiritual and physical practice, It improves our health and happiness. It mainly includes Breathing techniques, Exercise, and meditation.

About the history of yoga

Yoga is been found 5000 years ago,  Thousand of years ago, on the banks of the lake Kantisarovra in the Himalayas. Shiva is the first guru or Adi yogi. It was in India that the yogic system found. The word yoga derived from Sanskrit. Yoga indicates perfect harmony between mind and body. Yoga means union and a yogi is someone who practices yoga,  The list of great yogis in history is extensively long, they are to inspire you to think about what yoga means for you.   

If practiced yoga regularly, it is believed that it can burn calories and strengthen muscles. As what your workout does, but yoga enhances the well being.

What yoga makes special?

Yoga is special because it is connected to your soul. Yoga is deeper as you dig in, people aspects towards yoga are they think it will help to body strength, for some, it is mental peace, and for some it is spiritual.

An International Day of Yoga is observed on 21st June every year to spread awareness about the importance and effects of yoga on the health of the people. As some make their purpose yoga to be beauty and health or for body tone. But the intention of recognizing the fact of yoga is different. So real happiness comes when a person achieved the actual goal of yoga. It is attained optimum health and to have the best physical and mental condition.

Let’s start with one scenario: When the thought came in my mind to enroll my daughter to yoga program by friends’ suggestion, I contacted yoga center, I was surprised to see while enrolling my daughter I got to hear that mam no time slot, enroll for next month. Realization:  This has become most needed for anyone’s life and it is happened to be adults or kids.   There are yoga poses and process designed for kids, my daughter does Surya Namaskar and children kriya so likewise. It includes poses to increases strength, body awareness, flexibility, and coordination. Not only that yoga classes will have fun, and age-appropriate games and creative concepts. And teaching very good thoughts on how to feel relax and make mind calm. Mainly it enhances concentration and sense of calmness. Yoga helps children and adults to listen to their hearts and to turn their attention inwards which is must necessary. Yoga more handles stress and emotion; yoga teaches the self-regulation skills to improves and manage their mood.

How u do define/introduce yoga to kids? or how to begin with yoga to kids.?

Explaining yoga to kids is important and much good and it is beneficial if you visit the yoga center. They will guide properly to children how yoga can be done with fun. There will be many yoga programs that will be held by founders, ISHA foundation or art of living, etc.

There are many workshops conducted around the world, where parents can participate along with their kids and understand. Yoga for children is more way of fun, simplicity, and engaging language at their representation. To create any interest in kid first we need to talk about it and bring the curiosity of it and how important it is Or at home/friends if practicing that will create an eagerness to know and follow the same. It is the best routine for them to set.


What age kid should start yoga.?

Ideally, yoga can be started at the age of 4. But to understand better instruction and to coordinate with the yoga master better age is 6 according to me. IF you are making your kid to practice art home then make sure that certain poses should not harm them, or miss their balance, better to avoid such asana teach according to their level of understanding.

Kid can practice Surya Namaskar, Bhastrika, tree pose etc such simple asana.

To start yoga u doesn’t have to be flexible in fact yoga will make u flexible.
